The candidate of the Peoples Democratic

Adelabu, at the polling unit of the governor
of the state, Abiola Ajimobi.

the anointed candidate of Governor
Ajimobi, had 112 votes at Oluyole

Meanwhile, in a previous report by
Legit.ng , the All Progressives Party (APC)
suffered defeat to the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) at Manchok Registration Area
(RA), the electoral ward of Barnabas
Bantex, Kaduna state deputy governor.
The RA collation officer, Yusuf Taiwo,
who announced the result in Manchok
on Saturday, March 9, said Malam Isa
Ashiru of the PDP polled 2,978 votes to
defeat Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i of the
APC who got 1,474 votes.
Taiwo also said that the PDP got 3,036
votes to defeat the APC which got 1,311
votes in the state Assembly election in
the registration area.
In another previous report by Legit.ng ,
the minister of youths and sports,
Solomon Dalung, said he was not
bothered over his inability to win his
polling unit and ward for his political
party, the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The minister said his mission was beyond
winning his polling unit.
The APC was defeated at the polling unit
during the presidential election as PDP
emerged victorious.
It was reported that the same feat was
also recorded during Saturday, March 9,
governorship election as the PDP polled
234 votes while APC recorded 136 votes.
Dalung said his inability to deliver his
unit would not affect his position in the
cabinet of President Muhammadu
Buhari.
He said: “I lost the presidential election in
my village and I am not bothered. I mean,
I could not deliver my village/ward for the
APC. I am not even still expecting to win
this time, and, in fact, I will be
disappointed if I even win my village/ward
for the APC this time.

beyond winning elections for my party in
