Thank to you all and god bless
I sincerely pray and appeal that God almighty will
thank you all, my good people of Enugu State for
finding me worthy to serve you as the executive
governor of Enugu State. I shade tear of joy to be
entrusted with such a dignified position
I cannot mention names because they are
numerous but I will commit a sin of ingratitude if I
fail to mention my political mentor His Excellency
Governor Sullivan Chime and the caucus of
people’s Democratic Party Enugu State that kicked
the ball rolling and joined you all till the goal was
scored. Besides, I doff my hat to all PDP
members in Enugu state, all the support groups,
Academicians and non-academician, traditional
rulers, including my opponents and enemies as
their criticisms shaped me for letter.
The task ahead is enormous but I strongly believe
that the grace of God coupled with your committed
prayer as you did during the electioneering
campaign; we shall deliver the dividends of
democracy. In deed I urge you not only to continue
in your prayers but to intensify your prayer points
for a better and prosperous Enugu State that the
outgoing regime had planted.
After the handover next month I will unveil my blue
print for Enugu State and I will like you to follow
me patiently to execute it as it contains the master
plan of how Enugu state will be governed by my
administration with your support and co-operation
My government will be a listening regime, so feel
free to contribute your good ideas and crustuctive
criticisms through town union meetings or other
means of information that we shall put in place to
reach us.
Finally, I thank my dear parents for taking care of
me coupled with giving me a good education and
my lovely wife for her supportive actions and
prayers
May the good lord bless, guide and reward each
and every one of you that contributed directly or
indirectly to my success.

These figures showed Enugu East came First with
63, 660 votes, second was Igbo-Eze North 51, 948
votes, and thirdly Nsukka Local Government with
41,625 votes.
There was an increase in the number of votes from
the previous presidential election when compared
to the scores shown below that of the previous
election
